【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesmethodsfordeterminingthesoundpressurelevelrangeofauditorysignalssothattheusersofconsumerproducts,includingpeoplewithage-relatedhearingloss,canhearthesignalproperlyinthepresenceofinterferingsounds.Auditorysignals,inthisInternationalStandard,refertosoundswithafixedfrequency(alsocalledbeepsounds)anddonotincludevariablefrequencysounds,melodicsounds,orvoiceguides.ThisInternationalStandardisapplicabletoauditorysignalswhichareheardatanapproximatemaximumdistanceof4mfromtheproduct,aslongasnophysicalbarrierexistsbetweentheproductandtheuser.Itisnotapplicabletoauditorysignalsheardthroughaheadreceiverorearphones,ortothoseheardwiththeearlocatedveryneartothesoundsourcebecauseoftheinterferenceoftheheadwithsoundpropagation.ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotspecifythesoundpressurelevelofauditorysignalsregulatedbyotherstatutes,suchasthoseforfirealarms,gasleakagesandcrimeprevention,nordoesitspecifyauditorysignalsparticulartoacommunicationtoolsuchastelephones.ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotspecifyauditorydangersignalsforpublicorworkareaswhicharecoveredinISO7731,ISO8201,andISO11429.
